Our Origin Story

It all started with a single T-shirt—just a fun design for a wannabe Christian heavy metal band. But what began as a small creative project quickly evolved into something much bigger. Probably beyond our ability. We started experimenting with bold designs, t-shirt brands, and techniques. Now we make shirts. We never thought we'd be doing this!

From the beginning, we knew we wanted our art to stand for something more. We wanted to use powerful, graphic imagery to promote one thing: Truth. We wanted our designs to reflect our Faith—loud, raw, and unfiltered. Why sugar-coat the Word if God? To ease those with itching ears? We thought not.

But what would we call ourselves?

One day, while reading Romans 6, verse 13 jumped off the page:

"And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God."

That was it. Alive from the dead. That verse shook something in us. We started thinking of what being ressurected looks like to the rest of the world. The concept of being born spiritually dead came to mind, and how we are born again to new life. We are not spiritually dead anymore.

It's a concept that is rooted at the core of our faith. We are all born into sin, doomed from the start; the walking dead. But by the blood of Jesus we are made new creations in Christ. Reborn into eternal life. For we were once dead, but now we are made Undead. And just like that, Undead Clothing Co. was born.

We made a decision early on: if we were going to do this, we had to do it right. That meant staying true to the Word—no watering it down, no soft edges. While other apparel brands focus on feel-good phrases and inspirational quotes (and that’s fine), we knew we were called to something different.

We chose to show the gritty, graphic reality of the Gospel—the blood, the pain, the sacrifice—because that’s where the Truth is. We believe the truth of the cross is intense, and trying to soften it only weakens its impact.
