Death Unthroned is a year-long project that began with a simple mission: to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ in a real way — His Word, His Love, His Metal.

These songs were written by Christians who have dealt with — and still deal with — real issues and real sin. We know how heavy it is. We know how deeply sin eats away at the soul and how easily the human heart bends toward self-service rather than surrender. Scripture reminds us that the heart is deceitful above all things, and every believer knows the war between what we were and what Christ calls us to become.

This album was born out of that war.
